The Credit Investments & Solutions (CIS) division of NORD/LB Luxembourg consists of two segments.

The Credit Investments segment is focused on an active management of a well-diversified and well-structured portfolio of Floating Rate Notes, Asset Swaps and Credit Default Swaps. Based on a buy-and-hold approach, our focus is on achieving a stable cash flows (net interest income). In addition, we make selective use of market opportunities, in order to improve profitability on an ongoing basis. As part of this process, the MTM risk is managed actively, and minimised wherever possible. Credit index products will be used in future in order to help achieve this objective.
 

Our Solutions segment is designed to assist in design of resp. management of individual solutions in structured transactions. The focus here is to exploit the advantages which Luxembourg, as a location, offers the Group. The expertise of individual employees supports activities in the Solutions segment.

In addition to our core areas of business, we also act as a research provider for internal organisational units within the Group.
